Black Diamond Gray/Black - an excellent unfading gray/black roofing slate for a traditional look with medium to heavy texture. Provides a blend of dark grays and blacks for a contrast on the roof. Comparable slates: Color resembles historic Virginia Buckingham and Pennsylvania Black slates produced over the last century with a more uniform texture, slight variations of color and less sheen. Also similar to Vermont Blacks yet the Black Diamond is an true unfading slate. |

| Dover Black - a heavy texture roofing slate. Dover Black is a non-weathering and unfading stone with a high enough level of quartz to provide the glistening sheen that is also seen on many domestics. It is very similar in look and physical properties to domestic black manufacturered in Buckingham, VA and Peach Bottom Slate, once available from Pennsylvania. Our Dover Black is the only product approved as an alternate for Buckingham Slate on historic restorations by the National Park Service, Virginia Department of Historic Resources and Historic Arlington Landmark Review Board. |

Black Diamond Blue/Black - This true unfading and non-weathering S-1 grade imported roofing slate tests out better than any domestic unfading Blue Black roofing slate ever produced. The workability and uniformity make it one of the most beautiful products ever introduced by Black Diamond. It possesses a mica sheen typically only seen with Buckingham, Peachbottom and our Spanish Dover roofing slates at a much lower cost. Because of the purity and uniformity of the stone, it is available in large sizes such as 24x12 and larger, making it perfect for restorations and repairs on Historic Buckingham slate roofs. |

| Vermont Clear Black - a heavy textured black with a wide range of color and shading. Like other Vermont Blacks, this is a semi-weathering stone that develops earth tones of brown, buff, black and gray/green over time. Comparable slates: Other Vermont Black slates, yet each roof is unique because of variations in weathering. Large sizes available. |

Vermont Black (Strata Light & Dark) - a heavy texured black with a consistent gray/black color. Unlike Vermont Clear Blacks, this stone weathers very little but can develop a uniform light bronze haze over time. Slight variations on color can be seen in the strata lines adding to the heavy textured appearance. Comparable slates: Other Vermont Black slates, and is occasionally referred to as mottled gray/black or strata gray/black. Large sizes available up to 1" thick. |

| Georgetown Gray - a medium gray unfading color slate with medium to heavy texure. Heavy textured edges and slightly thicker cut provides the distinct rooflines from 1/4" to 3/8". Occasional strata lines slightly lighter in color may be seen in some production. Comparable slates: Similar texture to Vermont Grays with a slightly darker unfading and non-weathering color. |

Vermont Gray - a heavy textured semi-weathering slate with variations of gray and green when new. Similar to other Vermont Grays, most of the slate weathers to form an earthy brown cast over the gray that is somewhat uniform. Most weathering occurs within the first year. |

| Augusta Green - a traditional medium textured unfading green slate with a uniform thickness, Provides some contrast with variation in the depth of green and the occasional slight mottling on the roof. Unlike most Vermont fading greens, this product will maintain a distinct green hue. Comparable slates: Closely resembles Vermont unfading bright green, yet will remain green and not buff over time. |

Vermont Unfading Green - an unfading green slate with occasional splashes of gray. It is typical Vermont Green with some variation from bright green to medium gray/green color. Large sizes avaialble. |

| Vermont Semi-Weathering Gray/ Green - a heavy textured weathering slate with variations of gray and green when new. A percentage ranging from 30% to 50% transform into earth tones and browns over time resulting in a beautiful blend of greens, grays, buffs and browns. Most weathering occurs within the first year. Otherwise known as Sea Green. |

| Vermont Mottled Purple - medium to heavy texture non-weathering slate. Mottled refers to the injection of copper green into the slate through mineral deposits. The end color is striking but subtle and from farther away looks more like a warm gray. Makes a beautiful roof by itself or in blends. Available in large sizes. |

Vermont Variegated Purple - a medium to heavy texturing non-weathering slate. This Vermont purple has subtle striations that appear a warmer purple. Wonderful in a blend as well. Available in large sizes. |
